Last year I created a post of top travel bloggers to follow in 2016, which was then followed by my favourite travel Instagrammers , I still follow all these wonderfully talented people today, but over the past year, I have also discovered additional incredibly talented people owning their little space on the internet. So in the spirit of championing other people’s success and talent, I thought I would create an updated list of people I believe you should be following, not all of these people are necessarily in the ‘travel niche’ but they all have a sense of adventure that is guaranteed to make you smile.
Tink Jayne Adventures
One of a handful of blogs that I routinely check for new posts and I am never disappointed, a blog filled with wanderlust but also with the right mix of honest real life, her witty writing and fighting spirit make me smile and have me rooting for her all the way. Last year she was planning on writing a book and I honestly hope she does, as I already feel I would enjoy it so much.
Heels in my Backpack
I am not the girliest of girls ( I try, but quite a lot of the time I fail) and this completely goes out of the window when I travel, but Kara is someone that just looks fabulous all the time, aside from that she is a pretty epic frequent traveller, producing honest and original go to guides . Her style of writing makes you feel like you are talking to a friend, a very funny one at that.
An all round lifestyle blog full of positivity written by a glass half full kind of girl. Her down to earth and easy to read writing style has made her blog a go-to of mine since discovering a few months ago. Recently been announced as a finalist for ‘ best lifestyle’ in the UK Blog Awards, Sophie is proof that you do not need a niche to be successful in the blogging world.
The Cosy Traveller
Not only is Emily a great bloody travel blogger, one of the main reasons I follow her blog is because she writes about animals on her travels just as much as me. Which quite frankly makes her awesome, my particular favourite being the humorous ‘Love letters to cats I have met on my travels’. I feel if I ever meet Emily it needs to be in a Cat cafe drinking tea.
Follow Rhianna for wonderful slices of everyday life and epic flat lays – anyone that flat lays pizza is my kind of person! Rhianna inspires my lifestyle photography style!
Sophie’s Instagram is a pretty much a fairytale, combining the best of Paris and London, Sophie’s elegant style showcases her wonderful eye for perspective. Sophie’s photography made me desperate to revisit Paris, a trip that is happening next month!
Emma not only has incredible hair, she also has an effortless and infectious ‘coolness’ that I have yet (will ever) achieve in life. Currently on an epic road trip in the States, Emma’s photographic eye shows a gritty raw side of life that is much needed on Instagram.
Ok so admittedly I am bigging myself up here a little bit, however, if you are a big street food fan or general food fan, I would love for you to follow London Food Trucks. Created by myself and DJ during a long wait in an airport lounge, @LDNFoodTrucks combines our love of street food in our home of London, every day we share a photo of incredible street food we have had in the city. Each photo also tags the food truck and lists where they currently are so that you can go check them out yourselves. Both being massive fans of street food and supporting small independent businesses we are really excited to showcase some of the talents in our city.
I could go on a whole lot more with this list, but for now, these are the guys that are killing it right now for me, so please go check them out.
Also, I would love the spread the positive vibes, so if everyone who reads this could comment below with either a blogger or Instagrammer they think people should check out, then I will add them to a separate list at the bottom of this post!
