Hurrah! My return to South East Asia has finally arrived. At present, I am making my way to Heathrow airport to spend the evening in Yotel before our early morning flight on Wednesday. We have three weeks in a part of SE Asia that we have both never visited before and it looks like it is going to be extremely busy but hopefully relaxing at some stages as well!
We actually fly into Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia so we have a few days exploring all the sights before heading over to Bali, I can not wait to check out the street food markets in KL’s Chinatown.
We head straight to Ubud where we will be taking on the Mount Batur sunrise trek, we will also be spending some time in Seminyak where I will be reviewing the GrandMas Hotel and Spa . From there we catch a boat over for just under a week in the Gili Islands, this week will include a lot of scuba diving, snorkelling and beach life!
The Borobudur Temple is up next before we fly to my favourite part of the trip BORNEO! Yes, we will be spending three days on a river boat surrounded by the nature of the Tanjung National Park, home to wild Orangutans, Proboscis monkeys, Crocodiles and unfortunately many leeches, but I cannot wait! It will just be myself, Dj and two local guides on our boat, with no wifi or mobile reception, it really is going to be an unforgettable experience!
I am hoping to film some of the trips, mostly Borneo, so make sure you come back to check that out!
If you have visited any of these places or even live there please before sure to leave any suggestions of things to do, places to eat in the comments below!
See you all in three weeks!
