One of my favourite things about London is the amount of amazing pop-ups, that well pop-up, all over the city for limited amounts of time. From themed bars, to boutique stores to delicious places to eat, they create a buzz that gets everyone excited and thankfully most of them rarely disappoint. So when Magnum contacted me to tell me about a their pop up in the city this summer I was more than a little bit excited, a store devoted purely to Ice cream? Yes please.
Some of you may remember their pop-up from Covent Garden last year, however this year it has evolved into something big and better, in line with the launch of the Magnum Double, this year visitors will treated to a double dip personalised Magnum in either double chocolate and double peanut butter (I freaking love Peanut Butter, so I am so excited by this). Further personalisation comes in the form of honeycomb, pistachio, popping candy to even the weird and wonderful of chilli flakes and rose petals.
This year the store has moved to a new location of 56 South Molton Street, just off of Oxford Street however your nearest tube station would be Bond Street. It is also very close the British flagship Victoria’s secret store on New Bond Street, because surely the secret to becoming a Victoria’s Secret Angel is to eat personalised Magnums all summer long. Based in the heart of London, surrounded by the sites and shops, the new spacious location is a perfect place to cool down and indulge during your trip. The store also offers free wifi for its customers, another bonus for travellers (and locals!)
With different magnum bases and a wide variety of toppings each trip will create a completely new taste experience. I personally love the idea of this and the indulgent luxury theme that runs through the design of store, completely in line with Magnum’s branding, the store is currently open now until the end of Summer and I expect it will become extremely popular, especially if the hot weather continues.
What choice would you make, double chocolate or double peanut butter?
