One of the main reasons I started travel blogging myself was because I love viewing other people’s travel blogs. I am such a visual person and therefore love the amazing photography and designs you see on travel blogs, as well as the personal experiences about places that you wouldn’t find on tourist sites. Travel blogs constantly fuel my wanderlust, so today I thought I would share with you a few of my favourites.
Vicky’s blog is actually the first travel blog I found, before I knew travel blogging was a ‘thing’. So much of my inspiration and accommodation for my trip to Vietnam was inspired by Vicky’s guides. Vicky’s travel and festival blog is somewhere I can go and know I can trust the information/ recommendations that are being given to me.
I met Alys at the Trek America event I attended last month, after she told me she was embarking on a four trip in 2016 I had to find her blog. Having already been to so many incredible places there are already so many great posts which are only bound to get better once Alys sets off on her travels. She is also a massive vegetarian foodie like myself and reviews some great vegan restaurants!
Tara’s posts are not only incredibly informative but they also have a great sense of humour to them, such as ‘10 reasons to date a travel blogger‘. I am an avid reader of Tara’s blog as her posts are always original and interesting, oh and she is also a qualified free diver! How amazing is that?
I actually found Mollie through Youtube first of all and then found her blog. Mollie’s video and photography are at the highest level, for example I never had any desire to go skiing – until I watched her youtube video about her ski trip! A true adventurer Mollie’s posts and videos will make you want to hop on the next plane to just about anywhere
Dannielle has such a good storyteller’s voice and a great way of keeping you engaged in her posts it is no wonder that she was shortlisted for a blogger award recently. Another blog whose opinion I fully trust when researching my next trip .
Please feel free to link me to your favourite travel blogs or even your own travel blog, as I love finding new ones to read!
